It’s with bittersweet tenderness and so much gratitude that I’m sharing a big change coming to GROK in 2026: Christine is officially retiring.
For those of you who don’t yet know the full extent of Christine King’s brilliance and heart, let me give you a glimpse. I’ve had the gift of working closely with her over the past three years, and I can say—wholeheartedly—that this human is extraordinary.
(I’m not even pretending to stay neutral here. I’m just going to gush.)
✨ She’s an organizational maven.
Her mastery of spreadsheets, systems, and thoughtful processes has shaped GROK in ways most people could never fully see. Her behind-the-scenes work is a huge part of why GROK found its footing and reached so many people around the world over the past twenty-plus years.
✨ Her heart is the size of the sun.
Truly. Her empathy, warmth, and capacity to prioritize care—whether for a colleague, a customer, or our community—has set a tone of generosity and humanity throughout everything GROK does.
✨ She’s a generator and visionary.
There has never—ever—been a shortage of ideas, possibilities, or enthusiasm when Christine is in the room. Even during these last couple of years when she was (allegedly) easing toward retirement, she continued to show up fully, wholeheartedly, and with a beautiful sense of purpose.
I could go on. But instead, I’d love to invite something that feels even more meaningful:
